Information for authors

Abstracts

Authors are invited to submit a structured abstract (max. 2000 characters) in the following format via MobileMed 2014 EasyChair page:

  1. Background
  2. Objectives
  3. Methods
  4. Results
  5. Conclusion

The abstract should be formatted according to the following Abstract template. All abstracts will be rigorously reviewed by the technical program committee.

Deadline for submissions of abstracts, as well as othed deadlines, can be found at the about page.

Paper information

Authors of accepted abstracts are asked to submit a full paper ("camera ready") not exceeding 4 pages (2 pages min.) including abstract, results, figures and references. Only papers submitted in electronic form, in English language and in a specified format will be accepted for publication. Authors may be asked to polish their full papers.

Paper submission

Paper submission is performed online using EasyChair system: MobileMed 2014 EasyChair page

Full papers should not be sent as updates to the existing submissions but as "Proceedings version" under "Submission XX" at the easyChair page.

Presentation

Contributions, accepted for oral presentation will be organized in 15-minutes time slots. Please, prepare your presentations at maximum 10minutes long, bring slides in pdf, ppt/pptx or libre (open) office format. A PC will be available.

Poster Guidelines

Poster sessions are a valuable method for authors to present papers and meet with interested attendees for in-depth technical discussions. Therefore, it is important that you display your results clearly to attract people who have an interest in your work and your paper.

Preparing your Poster Presentation before the Conference Your poster should cover the KEY POINTS of your work. The ideal poster is designed to

  1. attract attention
  2. provide a brief overview of your work
  3. initiate discussion and questions
The title of your poster should appear at the top in CAPITAL letters about 25mm high. The author(s) name(s) and affiliation(s) are put below the title.

Your paper should fit within the following dimensions:
width: 77 centimeters
height: 101,5 centimeters

Carefully prepare your poster well in advance of the conference. There will be no time or materials available for last minute preparations at the conference. If you think you may need certain materials to repair the poster after traveling, BRING THEM WITH YOU.

No-show policy

We enforce a no-show policy. Every paper, presented in the conference proceedings requires at least one author presenting the work during the event.

If are author of accepted submission and you can not attend the conference for any reason, let us know via email at least 2 working days before the conference. Otherwise, you may be excluded from the proceedings.
